| Summary: | "Our clients are world-leading, high-demand consumers of networking technologies," said [Joseph P. Beninati]. "We are very fortunate to have them because they allow GTP the great privilege to grow revenues and create jobs at a crucial time when most companies are suffering declining revenues and employee downsizing. The GTP sales force is now adding clients at a faster pace than anytime in our history and our consulting and engineering team is the deepest and most sophisticated it has ever been due to our intense recruiting efforts." GTP's third quarter revenue of $14.5 million was seven percent lower than the $15.5 million reported in the second quarter of 2001. Despite growing 38 percent year-to-year, this was the first time since its founding 17 quarters ago in May of 1997 that GTP did not enjoy sequential revenue growth. The company has filed a claim, subject to a cap of $1.2 million, with its insurance carrier for Q3 revenue losses due to the disruption of consulting services to GTP's clients adversely affected by the terrorist attack in New York City. GTP is a leading network infrastructure consulting and engineering company that designs, builds and manages mission-critical networks and data center infrastructure for Global 2000 enterprises and large service providers. GTP's consultants and engineers possess world- class project management and consulting skills combined with in- depth knowledge of a broad range of networking technologies including core Internet routing protocols, IP and optical routing and switching, storage networking, security, network and performance management, and voice/data convergence technologies. Founded in 1997, and headquartered in White Plains, NY, GTP has approximately 400 employees in 19 locations across the U.S. and with its European headquarters in London.
