Summary:Since 2005, The Grey Journal is the flagship journal for the international grey literature community, which in itself comprises multiple and diverse communities of practice in this field of information. Each carries out research and publishes results in a host of document types such as preprints, conference papers, policy statements, etc. Most often they are open access compliant. The Grey Journal now in its 17th volume has on occasion included special issues alongside its regularly published Spring, Summer, and Autumn issues. Starting with the 18th volume, The Grey Journal under the editorial management of GreyNet International actively welcomes special issues submitted by organizations and institutions involved in the field of grey literature.
