일부 지역대학 간호졸업생의 지역병원 선택 실태 및 관련요인

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 신규 간호졸업생을 대상으로 지역병원을 선택한 요인을 파악하는 것이다. 연구방법: 본 연구의 대상자는 부산, 울산, 경남 지역에 위치한 5개 대학의 신규 간호졸업생 526명이었다. 자료수집은 2016년 2월에서 3월경 신규 간호졸업생에게 자가보고식 설문지를 작성하도록 하였다. 설문지는 학과만족도, 간호전문직관, 기대하는 간호근무환경을 포함하였다. 신규 간호졸업생을 대상으로 지역병원을 선택한 요인을 파악하기 위하여 다변량 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 간호졸업생이 지역병원을 선택하는 것에 출신지역, 학교유형, 성적, 간호근무환경이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 결론: 간호졸업생의 지역병원 선택을 증진시키기 위하여 출신지역 병원 취업시 다양한 복지혜택을 제공할 필요가 있다. 또한 간호의 질 향상을 위해 간호근무환경의 지역간 차이를 줄이고 관련된 정책을 개선하는 것이 필요하다. Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify factors associated with new graduate nurses' choices of local hospitals. Methods: Participants were 526 new graduate nurses from one of five universities located in Busan, Ulsan or Gyeongnam. The new graduates completed a self-report questionnaire survey during February and March, 2016. The questionnaire included questions about choices of local hospitals, satisfaction with nursing major, nursing professionalism and anticipated nursing practice environment. Multiple logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify factors associated with the new graduate nurses' choices of local hospitals. Results: Of the participants, 86.3% had their first jobs in their nursing school region (local hospitals). The choice of local hospitals among new graduate nurses was related to region of origin, type of nursing school, grade point average, and anticipated nursing practice environment. Conclusion: Local hospitals need to enhance the nurse practice environment and provide institutional benefits to new graduate nurses who choose local hospitals. For quality nursing care, reducing the geographical gap and improving policy is necessary. KCI Citation Count: 2
