영유아용 TV 프로그램에 나타난 성평등 구현 탐색 : 성별 분포 및 직업 또는 역할을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 영유아용 TV 프로그램에 나타난 성평등 구현에 대해 알아보는데 있다. 분석대상은 현재 EBS를 통해 방송되고 있는 영유아용 프로그램 40편이다. 연구자 2인이 분석대상인 40편의 프로그램을 함께 시청하며 상호 조율하며 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 남녀가 모두 등장하는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 여성만 등장하는 경우가 가장 적게 나타났다. 둘째, 주요 등장인물은 여성에 비해 남성의 비중이 더 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 남성의 직업 또는 역할은 여성에 비해 더 생산적이고 긍정적인 것으로 판단할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 영유아용 TV 프로그램의 성평등 구현에 관한 기초자료를 제시하는데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to explore the gender equality implementation in TV programs for Infants and Children. The analysis target is 40 programs for infants and children that are currently broadcasted through EBS. Two researchers watched 40 programs to analyze and analyzed them through mutual adjustment. The results of this study were as follows: First, both male and female appeared the most, and female only appeared the least. Second, the male characters are more important than the female characters. Third, male job or role was more productive and positive than female. The results of this study are meaningful to suggest basic data on the gender equality implementation of TV program for infants and children. KCI Citation Count: 1
