Summary: | Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of Massage and Body Action Therapy on chronic fatigue recovery for 8 weeks. Methods: Patients complaining of chronic fatigue with migraines were provided with a physical examination, a vital sign, and a doctor's certificate. Tests for measurement were mechanical properties of muscles (Semispinalis capitis / trapezius), real-time motion evaluation (RMT)-shoulder complex (Apley's scratch test right/left) tests, and programs of Massage and Body Action Therapy were conducted at M-hospital. The collected data was coded and executed using Python ver. 3.11.11. The pre and post within the group were analyzed, and the mean and standard deviation (SD) of each item were calculated to conduct a paired T-test. Results: As a result of before and after Massage and Body Action Therapy, in the muscle tone (Myoton) test. TG was found to have significant results in muscle tone (p<.001), muscle stiffness (p<.001), and muscle elasticity (p<.001) of Semispinalis capitis. Trapezius was found to have significant results in muscle tone (p<.001), muscle stiffness (p<.001), and muscle elasticity (p<.01). This provided a positive environment to facilitate blood flow in the head and neck and reduce muscle tension in the neck, and significant results were found in the shoulder complex (Apley's scratch test) right-TG (p<.05) and left-TG (p<.01) of the real-time motion evaluation (RMT). This is thought to have a positive effect on blood circulation by improving the range of motion of the neck and shoulder. Conclusion: Massage and Body Action Therapy's programs were found to have a positive effect on neck and shoulder muscle tone and mobility changes. It is a program that can help reduce the occurrence of migraines in the future.
