시각언어 통사론 체계의 회화 창작 적용에 관한 연구 -‘母語詩-生愛慾死天’을 중심으로

본 연구는 생성 AI 시대를 배경으로 시각언어 통사론 체계를 회화 창작에 적용하는 방식을 체계화하고 검토하였다. 작품 ‘모어시-생애 욕 사천’을 중심으로 다섯 가지 주요 기호(生, 愛, 慾, 死, 天)의 상징성과 배열을 분석하고, 이들이 상호작용하며 변형·해체되는 과정을 통해 시각적 문장이 형성되는 방식을 탐구한다. 각 기호는 인간 경험의 특정 국면을 반영하며, 그 조합과 배열을 통해 새로운 상징적 메시지를 창출하여 시각언어 체계의 가능성을 확장한다. 연구 결과, 시각적 기호는 통사론적 배열을 통해 개별 의미를 유지하면서도 통합적 메시지를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있음이 확인되었다. 챗GPT와 미드저니 같은 생성 AI 기술은 기호의 변형과 통합을 지원하며, 이를 통해 작품은 다층적 상징 의미를 형성하고 디지털 환경에서 예술 창작의 가능성을 확장한다. 생성 AI는 창작자가 새로운 시각적 내러티브를 구축하고 감정적 교감을 표현하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구는 시각언어 통사론 체계가 디지털 시대 회화 창작에서 새로운 이론적 틀과 실질적 방법론을 제공할 수 있음을 입증하였다. 생성 AI는 기호의 의미적 확장을 지원하며, 예술 작품이 관람자와 정서적으로 교감하고 독립적 미학적 가치를 지닐 수 있음을 실증적으로 보여주었다. 이를 통해 시각언어는 인간 경험을 디지털 환경에서 새로운 방식으로 형상화하며, 예술 창작의 가능성을 더욱 넓힐 수 있는 도구임이 밝혀졌다. 향후 연구에서는 시각언어 통사론 체계의 예술적 응용과 생성 AI 기술의 활용 방안을 심화하여 탐구할 예정이다. This study systematizes and examines the application of the syntactic system of visual language in painting creation within the era of generative AI. Focusing on the artwork “Mother Language Poem – Life, Love, Desire, Death, Heaven”, it analyzes the symbolism and arrangement of five key symbols and explores how their interaction, transformation, and deconstruction contribute to the formation of visual sentences. Each symbol reflects a specific aspect of human experience, and their combination and arrangement generate new symbolic messages, expanding the potential of the visual language system. The findings confirm that visual symbols, when arranged syntactically, retain their individual meanings while effectively conveying integrated messages. Generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT and Midjourney facilitate the transformation and integration of symbols, allowing the artwork to develop multi-layered symbolic meanings and expand the possibilities of artistic creation in digital environments. Generative AI plays a crucial role in enabling artists to construct new visual narratives and express emotional and philosophical concepts. This study demonstrates that the syntactic system of visual language provides a new theoretical framework and practical methodology for painting creation in the digital age. Generative AI supports the semantic expansion of symbols, showing that artworks can emotionally engage viewers while maintaining independent aesthetic value. Through this, visual language serves as a tool to reshape human experience in digital spaces and broaden the scope of artistic creation. Future research will further explore the artistic applications of the visual language syntactic system and the advanced utilization of generative AI technologies. KCI Citation Count: 0
