Summary:Memory sites, as part of cultural heritage, are testimony to the history of a society and are part of the Right to the City. They must be available to the entire population under equal conditions, so it is necessary to guarantee the Right to accessibility (physical, intellectual, communicational and sensory). In Argentina, a recurring deficiency is detected in this area linked to regulatory gaps, little or no treatment of the subject in degree training, as well as due to characteristics of the goods and particular political-economic conditions. Based on an essentially qualitative research, we address this last question by reviewing the role of the State, society and the private sector. We critically- descriptively analyze the relevance of memory sites as urban heritage and accessibility as a requirement and debt to become instruments in the defense of the Right to the City against the neoliberal model. To this end, we take as a case study the Space for Memory and Promotion of Human Rights ex CCDyT ESIM of Mar del Plata, Argentina and we review its current situation in terms of accessibility, as well as the disputes and projects that currently surround it. Keywords: heritage--right to the city--accessibility--memory-- neoliberalism Los sitios de memoria, como parte del patrimonio cultural, son testimonio de la historia de una sociedad y forman parte del Derecho a la Ciudad.
