The present invention relates to new pharmaceutical compositions comprising as active ingredient an effective amount of (a) an endolysin comprising the amino acid sequence provided in SEQ ID NO: 1; or (b) an endolysin comprising an amino acid sequence having 80% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:1, wherein the endolysin has a killing activity against Gardnerella; and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. Furthermore, the present invention relates to therapeutic uses of said pharmaceutical composition. La présente invention concerne de nouvelles compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant en tant que principe actif une quantité efficace de (a) une endolysine comprenant la séquence d'acides aminés fournie dans SEQ ID NO : 1; ou (b) une endolysine comprenant une séquence d'acides aminés ayant 80% d'identité de séquence avec SEQ ID NO : 1, l'endolysine ayant une activité de destruction contre Gardnerella; et au moins un excipient pharmaceutiquement acceptable. En outre, la présente invention concerne des utilisations thérapeutiques de ladite composition pharmaceutique.
