Summary:Novel compositions are prepared from (1) amino substituted pyrazine compounds such as pyrazinamine and (2) at least one of (a) a carboxylic acid, (b) carboxylic acid anhydride, (c) carboxylic acid ester or (d) combination thereof, such as tall oil fatty acid, and (3) optionally in the presence of sodium hydride. These novel compositions are useful as oil and gas well corrosion inhibitors.
