Summary:An X-ray device for an inverse computer tomography configuration, includes a plurality of X-ray emitters and a detector arranged opposite the X-ray emitters. The X-rays emitted by the X-ray emitters can be detected by the detector after at least partly passing through an examination region located in the intermediate region between the X-ray emitters and the detector. In an embodiment, the X-ray emitters are grouped into at least two mutually spaced sub-arrangements. Each sub-arrangement comprises multiple X-ray emitters. The spacing between the at least two sub-arrangements is greater than the spacing between adjacent X-ray emitters of at least one of the sub-arrangements.
