Summary:Provided herein is an arenavirus particle for use in a method for treating a neoplastic disease in a subject, wherein the method comprises administering to the subject said arenavirus particle and an immune checkpoint inhibitor, wherein said arenavirus particle is a tri-segmented infectious and replication-competent arenavirus particle comprising one L segment and two S segments, wherein a first S segment is engineered to carry an open reading frame ("ORF") encoding glycoprotein ("GP") in a position under control of an arenavirus 3' UTR and a first nucleotide sequence in a position under control of an arenavirus 5' UTR, and a second S segment is engineered to carry an ORF encoding nucleoprotein ("NP") in a position under control of an arenavirus 3' UTR and a second nucleotide sequence in a position under control of an arenavirus 5' UTR, and wherein at least one of the nucleotide sequences encodes one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten or more tumor antigens or tumor associated antigens or antigenic fragments thereof.
