The present invention relates to a panorama image generation system capable of obtaining a panorama image desired by a user without adding a super wide angle lens and a method thereof. The panorama image generation system can comprise: a photographing part including a plurality of photographing devices for photographing a subject to generate a panoramic image; and a server which controls each photographing device so that gaps between intersecting points of lines connecting each lens of the plurality of photographing devices and the subject is within a predetermined range, and collects information of the subject photographed by the plurality of photographing devices to generate the panoramic image. 본 발명의 파노라마 이미지 생성 시스템은 피사체를 촬영하여 파노라마 이미지를 생성하는 복수개의 촬영장치를 포함하는 촬영부; 및 복수개의 촬영장치 각각의 렌즈와 피사체를 연결한 선의 교차점 간의 간격이 미리 정해진 범위 내에 존재하도록 각각의 촬영장치를 제어하고, 복수개의 촬영장치에서 촬영된 피사체의 정보를 취합하여 파노라마 이미지를 생성하는 서버;를 포함할 수 있다.
