Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the number of auxiliaries each of which necessitates an independent motive power by attaching a row of auxiliary driving gears to a bevel gear which transmits power from an engine on the draft line to a propeller. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 is installed onto an upper construction 13 above the draft line and connected to a propeller 5 through bevel gear apparatuses 2 and 3. A row of auxiliary driving gears 7 and 8 are installed onto said bevel gear apparatuses 2 and 3, and the auxiliaries such as pump and generator are driven. Thus, a large number of auxiliaries can be driven, and the dimension of the generator for independent power can be reduced.
