Summary:PURPOSE:To control DO quantity stably and accurately by providing a time delaying arithmetric device adapted to delay the input on the inflow water quantity side of an arithmetic device from the input on the DO quantity side thereof. CONSTITUTION:The amount of water flow detected with an inflow water quantity detector 2 is inputted into a percentage setting device 3 and multiplied by a given percentage and inputted into a time delaying arithmetic device 9 to be delayed. The inflow water quantity delayed and the DO value detected with a DO detector 4 are inputted into an arithmetic device 5 to compute. An adjusting meter 6 outputs a control signal so that the computed value reaches the set DO value whereby actuating an adjusting valve 7. At this point, as the input on the inflow water quantity side of the arithmetic device 5 is delayed, the adjusting valve works to control the DO quantity in the aeration tank 1 to a constant level when the DO quantity in the aeration tank is varying with a change in the inflow water quantity.
