Summary:To provide an avatar communication system suitable for a web conference at low introduction cost.SOLUTION: In a web conference system 101, a face of a user 102 is imaged and avatar data resembling the user is created in advance based on acquired image data. A gyro sensor is attached to an arm of the user, and the pose of the arm of the user is acquired, thereby complementing posture information of the user as a subject. Then, an avatar 109 resembling the user is displayed in 3D or pseudo 3D by a hologram, thereby blocking a video of a living space of the user and producing a realistic sensation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】安価な導入コストにて、ｗｅｂ会議に好適なアバター通信システムを提供する。【解決手段】ｗｅｂ会議システム１０１において、予めユーザ１０２の顔を撮影した画像データを基に、ユーザに似せたアバターデータを作成しておく。ユーザの腕にジャイロセンサを装着して、ユーザの腕のポーズを取得することで、被写体であるユーザの姿勢情報を補完する。そして、ユーザに似せたアバター１０９をホログラムにて３Ｄまたは擬似３Ｄ表示させることで、ユーザの居住空間の映像を遮断すると共に、臨場感を演出する。【選択図】図１
