| Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panoramic image with a higher sense of presence/immersion without pressing an excessive burden on a user.SOLUTION: An image processing device performs: alignment discrimination processing (2) for discriminating whether panoramic picked-up image data and the other picked-up image data other than the panoramic picked-up image data can be aligned in such a manner that consistency of an imaging subject is secured; and image link processing (3) for linking the other picked-up image data for which it is discriminated that the alignment with the panoramic picked-up image data is possible, with the panoramic picked-up image data. For example, when providing a panoramic picked-up image attaining improvement in a sense of presence/immersion by merging the other picked-up image such as a video image or a high-resolution image than the panoramic picked-up image, it is enough for a user only to take the panoramic picked-up image and the other picked-up image in the substantially same imaging location. 【課題】臨場感・没入感のより高いパノラマ画像をユーザに過度な負担を強いることなく実現できるようにする。【解決手段】パノラマ撮像画像データと前記パノラマ撮像画像データ以外の他の撮像画像データとの間で撮像被写体の整合性が確保されるように位置合わせが可能であるか否かを判定する位置合わせ判定処理(2)と、前記パノラマ撮像画像データに対する位置合わせが可能と判定された前記他の撮像画像データと前記パノラマ撮像画像データとをリンクさせる画像リンク処理(3)とを行う。例えば動画や高解像度画像などのパノラマ撮像画像以外の他の撮像画像を統合して臨場感・没入感の向上を図ったパノラマ撮像画像を実現するにあたって、ユーザは、略同一の撮像地点においてパノラマ撮像画像と他の撮像画像とを撮影すればよい。従って、ユーザに過度な負担を強いることなく、臨場感・没入感のより高いパノラマ画像を実現できる。【選択図】図6 |
