| Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle which suppresses a fastening shock when releasing neutral traveling control.SOLUTION: A control device of a vehicle for controlling the vehicle comprising an automatic transmission 4 having a stepped gear change mechanism 30 having a first fastening element 32 which is fastened when selecting a gear change stage different from a prescribed gear change stage, and a second fastening element 33 which is fastened when selecting a gear change stage different from a prescribed gear change stage, comprises a control unit 12 for performing the rotational synchronization of the stepped gear change mechanism 30 when fastening the first fastening element 32 or the second fastening element 33 during neutral traveling control for making the vehicle travel while bringing the stepped gear change mechanism 30 into a power block state. A fastening time of the first fastening element 32 is longer than a fastening time of the second fastening element 33, and a first threshold for determining the rotational synchronization of the first fastening element 32 is larger than a second threshold for determining the rotational synchronization of the second fastening element 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
