Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery having high reliability which has been required in the prior art.SOLUTION: A battery includes a first positive electrode current collector, a first negative electrode current collector, a first power generation element, a second power generation element, and a first insulating portion. Each of the first power generation element and the second power generation element includes a positive electrode active material layer containing a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode active material layer containing a negative electrode active material, and an inorganic solid electrolyte layer containing inorganic solid electrolyte. In each of the first power generation element and the second power generation element, the inorganic solid electrolyte layer is in contact with the positive electrode active material layer and the negative electrode active material layer, respectively, the positive electrode active material layer of the first power generation element and the positive electrode active material layer of the second power generation element are in contact with the first positive electrode current collector, the negative electrode active material layer of the first power generation element and the negative electrode active material layer of the second power generation element are in contact with the first negative electrode current collector, and the first insulating portion is provided between the first power generation element and the second power generation element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
