| Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle start control device capable of improving correction accuracy of engine output torque based on engine inertia torque at start of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In the vehicle start control device correcting the engine output torque Te based on the engine inertia torque Tinr, it is determined whether not a difference between first engine inertia torque ΔTe1 (S1-S5) calculated based on engine estimated output torque Te0 etc. and a second engine inertia torque ΔTe2 (S6, S7) calculated based on an engine speed change rate dltNe etc. exceeds a predetermined set difference (S10). With fastening by a lock up mechanism released, when it is determined that the difference exceeds the set difference, the first engine inertia torque ΔTe1 is selected (S14), and when it is determined that the difference is below the set difference, the second engine inertia torque ΔTe2 is selected (S15).
