Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery design system based on a selecting method of a dye, capable of sensitizing a semiconductor relatively easily with high reliability, in a dye-sensitized solar cell. SOLUTION: In the dye-sensitized solar cell in which an electrode is produced by allowing the dye to be adsorbed on the surface of the semiconductor, the battery design system is based on the method for selecting the sensitizing dyes of the dye-sensitized solar cell, in which Quasi Fermi Level (QFL) of the dye and Intrinsic Acceptor Level (IAL) of the semiconductor are compared with each other, to determine that the semiconductor is sensitized by the dye, when the QFL is lower in an electrical potential with respect to the IAL; and the sensitivity of the semiconductor is reduced by the dye, when the QFL is higher in the electrical potential with against the IAL.
