Summary:The subject matter of the invention relates to a tray for detecting water leaks in cold-water and/or hot-water heaters, boilers and accumulators comprising a concave structure (1) the base of which is inclined (1A), forming a ramp such that one end of the tray has a greater depth with respect to the opposite end, having respective housings (4) and (5) for an electronic plate (9) for activating an alarm (11) and for a floater (10), likewise having a hole or overflow (7) for the outlet of accumulated water. The tray operates mechanically and autonomously when water droplets fall and has a perimeter shape that coincides with the base of the appliance to which it is coupled, and wherein the alarm (11) emitted is linked to an app to be received by a mobile phone. The tray can be applied to other household appliances that may lose liquid.
