The system has a user interface facilitating user modification of a first color to a second color within a color schema for a component of a document. The color schema comprises a predetermined number of X-main colors and a predetermined number of Y-assigned subordinated colors for each main color. A color handler modifies the color schema to produce an updated color schema corresponding to noticed luminosity of second color over a part of the updated color schema. A color processor processes the updated color schema and applies the updated color schema to the component. An independent claim is also included for a method for treating a color assignment within a complex document. Ein System, das auf einer Rechenvorrichtung zum Behandeln einer Farbzuweisung innerhalb eines komplexen Dokuments implementierbar ist, weist eine Benutzerschnittstelle auf, um eine Benutzermodifikation mindestens einer ersten Farbe zu mindestens einer zweiten Farbe innerhalb eines zuvor gewählten Farbschemas für eine Komponente des Dokuments zu erleichtern.
