The invention discloses a power grid physical asset data protection method and system based on a G-AES algorithm, and the method comprises the following steps: carrying out the containerization of different types of interactive operation services in a power grid physical asset service system, and obtaining a plurality of different types of service container pools; constructing a G-AES data exchange pool based on a G-AES algorithm, and associating and matching a plurality of different data encryption modes in the G-AES data exchange pool with a plurality of service container pools; acquiring a user operation instruction through a power grid physical asset business system; generating a calling instruction according to the user operation instruction, and calling a target service container pool of a corresponding type and an associated target data encryption mode in response to the calling instruction; and based on the target service container pool, responding to the user operation instruction to execute the inte
