The motion teaching system is provided with: a kinesthetic presentation robot for guiding the movement of movable parts of a subject's body so as to teach motions that conform to a prescribed motion pattern; a brain wave sensor; and a computer that classifies, on the basis of brain wave signals, a brain activity pattern into any one of a plurality of classes that includes motor imagery.
