The invention discloses a power tracking control method and apparatus of a wind power generator. The method comprises the steps of a, sampling an output current i , which is subjected to three-phaserectifying, of the wind power generator, and obtaining a given reference current i<*>; b, calculating the conducting duration increment which is equal to t-t of a switching tube in a DC/DC converter according to the sampled current i and the given reference current i<*> and a current formula which is as shown in the specification of an inductor in the DC/DC converter; c, obtaining the initial duty ratio D of a control signal of the DC/DC converter, and obtaining the duty ratio D of the adjusted control signal according to the initial duty ratio D and the conducting duration increment ; and d, generating a corresponding PWM control signal according to the calculated duty ratio D to be input to the input end of the control signal of the DC/DC converter to perform power tracking control.
