| Summary: | An endoscope that can be connected to a processor (3) provided with a high-frequency component enhancement circuit (33) for performing enhancement correction of a high-frequency component of an imaging signal in which the high-frequency component is attenuated, said endoscope being provided with: a CMOS image sensor (11) provided with an imaging unit that captures an optical image of a subject and generates an analog imaging signal, and an A/D conversion unit that converts the analog imaging signal into a digital imaging signal and outputs the result; a cable (40) for transmitting the digital imaging signal; and a filter (24) having frequency characteristics that equalize frequency characteristics relating to the high-frequency component enhancement circuit.
