The invention relates to the technical field of rubber, in particular to a pick-up truck tire tread rubber composition, which comprises the following materials in parts by weight on the basis of 100 parts by weight of rubber components: 4-10 parts of phenol-modified terpene resin, 30-100 parts of carbon black, 10-30 parts of white carbon black, 1.5-4.0 parts of sulfur and 1.7-3.5 parts of sulfonamide vulcanization accelerator, wherein the rubber components comprise 20-45 parts by weight of polybutadiene rubber and 45-80 parts by weight of solution polymerized butadiene styrene rubber. A non-toxic and easily dispersible novel resin with high cohesion and high adhesion is added, so that the effects of reducing rolling resistance and wet slip resistance of a tire are achieved.
