Summary:In the process of couple therapy, it is important for the consultant to be able to recognize those complaints, problems and symptoms of clients that require consultation with a psychiatrist and medication correction. The article is based on the materials of a report at an open meeting of OSKiP and concerns to the diagnostic features of the most common mental disorders in psychiatrist practice and their impact on the dynamics of couples' relationships, both before seeking psychotherapeutic help and during couple therapy. The influence of depression, bipolar disorder, BPD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, ASD and ADHD in one of the partners on the dynamics of intrafamily relationships and the formation of a request for psychotherapeutic work is considered.
