Summary:Professor Chen Shijian has been engaged in theoretical research and practical exploration of teacher education in China for years. Professor Chen believes that teacher education in the new era should be based on the national strategic needs of building an educational strong country and developing the Chinese path to modernization. Therefore, teacher education should realize the strategic transformation of high-quality development, to provide a basic guarantee and strategic support for high-quality development of education.
