Summary:The study aimed to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the financial performance of Algerian economic institutions. The study found a significant negative impact of the pandemic on the financial performance of the institution under study, leading to a decline in net profits for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021 compared to 2018. The study concluded that economic institutions should adopt precautionary policies to mitigate future risks to avoid financial losses and challenges similar to those faced during the pandemic. Additionally, the study praised the measures and policies implemented by the state to support economic institutions, which greatly helped them in managing the pandemic's adverse effects and minimizing losses.
