Summary:This work reports on numerical analysis of the nonlinear dynamics of a semiconductor laser subject to an optical injection with a frequency comb. We identified the fundamental difference between the single mode injection and frequency comb injection. By varying the injection parameters (detuning and injection ratio), the results show that the slave laser is able to reproduce the injected frequency comb (new comb) in different parameters regions. The appearance of the new comb depends on the number of injected comb lines for fixed comb properties.
