Summary:This study aims to determine the effect of teacher pedagogical competence on motivational dimension students in the pandemic era through online learning programs in Biology learning. The research subjects included the students from class X, XI and XII at SMA N 3 Yogyakarta and SMA N 5 Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used was Cluster sampling. This type of research is descriptive quantitative analyzed through linear regression test. The results of the study revealed that the average percentage of teachers in a good category was 71% and students learning motivation in a good category was 67%. The results of simple linier regression analysis show tcount (9.775)>ttable (1.976) it can be stated that the hypothesis test is H0 rejected and Ha is accepted. The interpretation is that pedagogical competence has a significant effect on students' learning motivation.
