Summary:The subject of using the scheme of a controlled power distribution mechanism, similar to the construction of the "AYC" differential, as a steering mechanism for forest tracked vehicles and a controlled power distribution mechanism for wheeled vehicles is discussed. The scheme of the mechanism and transmission, the principles of kinematic and power analysis, and the results of calculations are presented. Approaches to the integration of the mechanism into the transmissions of promising forest tracked and wheeled vehicles are proposed.
