청각장애아의 다중지능 발달 특성에 관한 연구

기존 지능이론에 대한 비판으로 H. Gardner에 의해 다중지능이론이 대두되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 청각장애아의 다중지능프로파일을 분석하고 연령에 따라 다중지능이 어떻게 변하는지 알아보았다. 연구대상은 청각장애학교에 재학중이며 중복장애가 없는 학생들 중 유치부와 초등부 1 ～ 2학년 (만 4 ～ 8세), 그리고 초등부 4학년 ～ 중등부 1학년 (만10 ～ 13세) 35명이다. 연구대상의 다중지능 발달 특성을 알아보기 위하여 다중지능측정도구인 KC-MIDAS와 K-MIDAS를 이용하였다. 연구 결과, 청각장애아의 다중지능프로파일에서 강점지능은 신체-운동지능이며 약점지능은 언어지능과 음악지능으로 나타났다. 연령에 따른 다중지능의 변화는 연령이 증가함에 따라 논리수학적 지능, 언어지능, 대인간 지능, 개인내 지능은 증가하였다. 즉 연령이 증가함에 따라 다중지능은 장애로 인하여 고착화 된 것이 아니라 다양한 분포를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. In Multiple Intelligence of H. Gardner, all human being has the strength and the weakness in oneself. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strength and the weakness of intelligences appeared by the profile of multiple intelligences of hearing-impaired children ,and to find what differ according to age. The subject of this study were 35 hearing-impaired children. Their MI were measured by KC-MIDAS and K-MIDAS in the hearing-impaired school, from May 15th to May 20th in 2003. The strength and the weakness of intelligences appeared by the profile of MI of hearing-impaired children were analyzed by mean. The profile of MI according to age of hearing-impaired children were analyzed by one-way ANOVA. In analyzing MI of hearing-impaired children, the strength of intelligence is Bodily-kinesthetic, and the weakness of intelligence is Musical intelligence and Linguistic intelligence. There were differences according to age of hearing-impaired children in Logical-mathematical intelligence, Linguistic intelligence, Interpersonal intelligence and Intrapersonal intelligence. The profile of MI according to age of hearing-impaired children were more various as getting older. KCI Citation Count: 10
