유니버설디자인 측면에서 본 데이케어센터의 실내 환경디자인 방향 연구 -치매노인을 중심으로

오늘날 인간생활의 발전과 평균수명의 연장으로 노인 인구는 기하급수적으로 증가하였다. 노인인구 증가와 더불어 만성노인성 질환도 이에 비례하여 증가하고 있으며 그 중에서 주목을 받는 질환 중 하나가 치매이다. 치매노인은 타인들과의 효과적인 상호작용을 통해서 그들의 정서적, 사회적 욕구들을 만족시킬 필요가 있으나 사회성 결핍으로 이러한 욕구들을 충족시키지 못한다. 상호작용이 원활하게 이루어지려면 그에 맞는 주간보호시설(Day Care Center)의 올바른 공간 조성을 해 나가는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 치매노인을 위한 데이케어센터의 문제점을 찾아보았다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위해서 같은 지역의 두 곳을 비교하여 데이케어센터의 현황을 알아보았다. 데이케어센터에 유니버설디자인 원칙들을 적용 해보았을 때 제대로 적용되어져 있지 않았고, 미비한 결과를 볼 수 있었다. Today, with the development of human life and the extension of the average life span, the elderly population has increased exponentially. In addition to the increase in the elderly population, chronic elderly diseases are increasing proportionally, with one of the most notable diseases being dementia. Elderly people with dementia need to satisfy their emotional and social needs through effective interaction with others, but they do not meet these needs due to a lack of social skills. To facilitate the interaction, it is necessary to create the correct space for the day care center. This study looked at the problem of Day Care Center for the Elderly with Dementia. To achieve this goal, we compared two locations in the same area to see the status of day care centers. When we applied the Universal Design Principles to Day Care Centers, we saw results that were not properly applied. KCI Citation Count: 1
