경기수행특성을 고려한 한국 축구의 경기력 벤치마킹 국가 탐색 : 효율성 이론 기반 자료포락분석모형의 적용

이 연구의 목적은 한국축구의 효율적 경기력 향상을 위한 선진국가 벤치마킹 모델을 선정하는 것이다. 구체적으로 2018년 러시아 월드컵 진출국을 연구대상으로 선택하였으며, 선정된 32개 국가의 평균 이동거리, 평균 볼점유율, 평균 슛팅 횟수 등의 경기수행 특성을 고려하여 한국축구의 벤치마킹 모델을 선정하였다. 벤치마킹 대상의 선정은 자료포락분석(DEA: data envelopment analysis)을 적용하였고, Scheel(2000)이 개발한 DEA 분석 전용 소프트웨어EMS(Efficiency Measurement System) ver 1.3을 활용하였다. 이 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 경기수행 능력에 따른 축구 경기수행능력평가 결과 프랑스가 가장 효율적인 축구경기력을 보유하고 있다. 경기수행능력에 따른 한국의 벤치마킹 대상국가는 프랑스이다. 경기수행 특성에 따라 한국이 최종적으로 프랑스를 벤치마킹하기 위해서는 7단계의 과정을 거쳐야 하며, 가장 첫 번째로 벤치마킹 해야 하는 국가는 아르헨티나와 일본이다. 이 연구의 결과는 향후 한국축구의 성장을 위하여 축구 선진국가를 선택하여 벤치마킹하고자 할 때, 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 경기수행특성을 반영하여 한국축구에 적합한 훈련방법의 변화로 이끌 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to select a benchmarking model for advanced countries to improve the performance of Korean soccer. Specifically, to improve the performance of Korean soccer, the 2018 Russia World Cup was selected for research, and the benchmarking model of Korean soccer was selected considering the performance characteristics of the 32 selected countries. The selection of benchmarking targets was based on data development analysis (DEA) and utilised Efficiency Measurement System (EMS) ver 1.3, a software dedicated to DEA analysis developed by Scheel (2000). The conclusions of this study are as follows. France has the most efficient soccer performance as a result of the soccer performance evaluation based on its ability to perform. France is the benchmark country for South Korea based on its ability to perform. Depending on the characteristics of the game, Korea must go through seven stages to finally benchmark France, and Argentina and Japan are the first countries to benchmark. The results of this study could be used as a basic data for benchmarking soccer developed countries for future growth of Korean football, and could lead to changes in training methods suitable for Korean football, reflecting the characteristics of performance.
