SNS를 활용한 학습에서 학습자간 상호작용, 사회적 실재감, 학업만족도, 학업성취도의 차이에 대한 탐색적 연구

본 연구는 대학에서 SNS를 활용한 강의가 학습자간 상호작용, 사회적 실재감, 학업만족도, 학업성취에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하는 탐색적 연구이다. 연구대상은 학부 내의 학부기초를 수강하는 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 SNS를 활용한 분반과 기존의 온라인 강의 지원 시스템을 활용한 분반으로 나누어 동일한 강의 내용, 강의 자료, 강의 활동으로 진행하였다. 기존 연구를 바탕으로 학습 후 학습자간 상호작용의 정정도와, 사회적 실재감, 학습 만족도에 대한 문항을 개발, 설문을 진행하였고 중간 및 기말 평가 내용을 학업성취도로 구분하여 두 집단 간의 평균 차이를 검증하였다. 연구결과 학업 만족도는 두 집단 간 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났고 이것은 학업 만족도에 미치는 요인이 아주 다양하여 단순히 SNS의 활용이 학업 만족도의 차이를 가져오지 않았다고 볼 수 있다. SNS를 활용한 분반이 상호작용의 정도, 사회적 실재감의 정도가 더 높았으며 학업 성취도 중 기말평가 점수가 더 높았으며 학습자간 상호작용과 사회적 실재감, 학업 성취도 중 기말평가가 두 집단 간 차이가 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. This is an exploratory study to verify the impact of applying SNS to lecture on the learner interaction, social presence, learning satisfaction, and students achievement. The subject of the study is two groups which consist of SNS applied class and the group using legacy online class supporting system with same learning contents, course material, group activities of class. We developed survey questionnaire based on related literature review and verified the differences between two groups with survey method about learner interaction, social presence, learning satisfaction and students achievement classified into midterm and final. The results shows that the differences of learning satisfaction is not significant because factors affecting learning satisfaction is various and the application of SNS is not only variable to affect satisfaction on learning. The differences of learner interaction, social presence and students achievement in final evaluation are statistically significant between two groups. KCI Citation Count: 23
