In the context of this work, as regards compositional requirements, the Commission recently published a study collecting evidence-based information on the baby food market, as well as on existing national and international dietary guidelines and recommendations in the context of infant and young child feeding. [...]as regards labelling requirements, the Commission mandated the European Food Safety Authority to provide an update of its 2009 Opinion on the appropriate age for introduction of complementary feeding of infants. [...]a directive ((EU) 2019/633)24 on unfair trading practices in the agricultural and food supply chain was adopted in April 2019.
