대구 · 경북 행정통합에 대한 빅데이터 분석

The study examines public attitude and reaction regarding administrative integration in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area. Specifically, it employs social big data including textual comments on online news articles and YouTube video clips. The collected data are analyzed in order to compare two periods, that is, before and after the inauguration of the Public Opinion Committee for One Daegu-Gyeongbuk. As a result, we have found that people's favorable response to administrative integration has gradually increased since the launch of the Committee. However, it still lacks specific administrative procedures and discussion topics among the frequently used words in the collected data. Thus, the Committee needs to provide a variety of information and materials related to administrative integration. 이 연구는 온라인 데이터를 활용해 대구·경북 행정통합에 대한 태도와 반응을 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 온라인 기사와 유튜브 영상의 댓글을 통하여 알아보았다. 2020년 1월 1일부터 10월 18일까지 수집한 데이터는 대구경북행정통합공론화위원회 출범 이전과 이후로 나누어 분석했다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 내용을 확인했다. 첫째, 댓글 유형을 시기별로 비교했을 때 공론화위원회 이후 회의론자는 줄어들었고 신념주의자는 증가했다. 둘째, 행정통합에 대해 낙관적 태도를 보여주는 단어를 공론화위원회 출범 이후 확인했다. 셋째, 하위집단분석 결과 이전과 이후 모두 행정통합에 대한 구체적 절차나 방향을 언급하는 단어군이 보이지 않았다. 이는 아직까지 행정통합과 관련한 충분한 정보나 토론논제가 제공되지 않았음을 보여준다. 이 연구에서는 정책당국이 놓칠 수 있는 숨겨진 여론을 찾도록 도와주고, 필요시 즉각적 대응을 할 수 있도록 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.
