현대 패션에 나타난 페티시 슈즈디자인의 특성 -초현실주의 표현기법을 중심으로

현대 패션에서 슈즈는 여러 매체를 통해 여성들의 욕망을 대변하는 상징적인 상품으로 노출되었고, 국내외 대중매체는 물질이라는 것에 욕망하는 여성들의 심리를 더 이상 죄악시하지 않고 자신만의 개성 표현이라는 의미를 끊임없이 부여하고 있다. 이런 사회적 관심과 수요의 증가를 이어나가기 위해 슈즈디자인에 관한 학문적인 정리가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 욕망의 개념에서 슈즈를 볼 때, 인간의 무의식적인 성적 욕망을 강렬하게 나타내는 페티시즘을 주제로 슈즈디자인의 특성을 연구하였다. 연구는 페티시즘을 표현하는데 활용되는 여러 가지 양식 중 초현실주의 표현기법을 중심으로 하였는데, 이것은 초현실주의가 무의식 세계를 사상의 기반으로 하고, 이성을 배제하며, 인간의 성적 욕망을 강조한다는 점에서 페티시즘과 공통점을 갖기 때문이다. 연구를 위해 먼저 페티시즘과 초현실주의의 특성 및 공통점, 슈즈 페티시즘, 패션디자인에 나타난 초현실주의 표현기법에 대해 고찰하였다. 이를 기초로 하여, 페티시 슈즈의 중요 아이템인 하이힐을 대상으로 2005년부터 2015년까지 패션컬렉션 슈즈디자인에 나타난 페티시즘의 특성을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 현대 패션에 나타난 페티시 슈즈디자인은 초현실주의 표현기법의 특성인 전위와 왜곡, 착시, 기타 등의 네 가지 특성을 나타낸다는 결론을 얻었다. 페티시즘과 초현실주의는 이미 의상디자인에 있어서는 활발하게 활용되고 있는 개념이다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 통해 두 개념이 슈즈디자인에 응용, 확대되어 슈즈디자인 분야에서 다양한 상품을 개발하고 전개하는데 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다. Shoes are exposed as the symbolic goods representing the desire of women through a variety of media in the contemporary fashion. Furthermore, the mass media in Korea and abroad has been continuously adding the meaning ‘the expression of personalities` without considering the women`s psychology desiring materials as the sin any more. For continuing the increase of such social interest and demand, it is required to summarize the shoes design in academic aspects. To this end, this paper investigated the features of shoes design focusing on fetishism strongly expressing the unconscious sexual desire of human beings when analyzing the shoes with the concept of desire. This paper focused on the surrealism expression technique in various styles used to express fetishism. It`s because surrealism has the common features with fetishism on the aspect that it takes the unconscious world as its ideological basis, excludes reason and emphasizes the sexual desire of human beings. The features and common features of fetishism and surrealism, fetishism in shoes and surrealistic expression technique in fashion design were investigated. On the basis of those factors, the features of fetishism observed in the shoes design in fashion collection from 2005 to 2015 were analyzed by taking the high heels, the important item for fetish shoes, as the subject. In accordance with the analysis, the fetish shoes design in the contemporary fashion showed four features, avant-garde, distortion, optical illusion and many others, the features of surrealistic expression techniques. Fetishism and surrealism are the concepts which have been actively applied in costume design. Accordingly, the analysis results in this paper will be used as the basic data to develop and implement a variety of goods in the shoes design by applying and expanding both concepts to shoes design.
