Summary:Objectives: This study aims to identify the relationship between learning immersion, smartphone addiction, and self-control in dental hygiene students. Methods: Data were collected from September 10 to 25, 2024, and the final study subjects were 170 people. Results: The factors affecting the self-control of dental hygiene students were found to be learning immersion and smartphone addiction, and the explanatory power was 49.9%. Conclusions: It is necessary to improve learning efficiency on one's own through a learning feedback program, and to provide preventive education such as self-diagnosis and extracurricular programs to prevent smartphone addiction.
