올림픽메달 획득 경험이 만든 심리자본

[목적] 본 연구는 올림픽메달 획득 40년 후 올림픽메달 획득 경험으로 형성된 심리자본을 탐색할 목적으로 진행하였다. [방법] 1976년 몬트리올올림픽에 출전하여 동메달을 획득한 대한민국 여자배구선수 5명을 대상으로 진행하였다. 포토보이스를 활용한 이 연구에서 자료제공자는 사진을 촬영한 뒤 연구자의 휴대전화에 전송하고 전화인터뷰와 모바일메신저를 활용해 수집하였다. 수집된 사진은 자료제공자와 개별 인터뷰를 진행해사진의 주제와 의미에 관한 논의를 전개하였고, 전문가회의를 통해 내용타당도를 확보하였다. [결과] 연구결과, 자료제공자는 올림픽메달 획득 경험은 시간의 경과에 따라 자신의 정체성을 규정하는 나의 질료 배구로 성실, 동메달의 선물로 감사, 성취의 원천으로 도전, 관계 열쇠로 유연성의 심리자본을 형성하였다. 이상의 결과를 통해 올림픽메달 획득 경험은 일상에 영향을 미쳐 개인의 심리자본을 형성하는 자원으로 성장할 개연성을 발견하였다. [결론] 올림픽 메달리스트의 은퇴 이후 삶에 대한 사회적평가는 부정 일변도이다. 본 연구가 부정 일변도의 선수 경험에 대한 사회적 평가를 긍정 측면으로 확장시키는 계기가 되기를 기대해본다. [Purpose] This study aimed to investigate the psychological capitals created by the experience of winning an Olympic medal by using the photovoice method. [Methods] Data were collected on the way the participants-five Bronze medalists in the Women`s volleyball in 1976 Montreal Olympics-take and send photographs. The interviews were conducted by phone based on the collected data. The photographs were placed into the parent category after conducting inductive content analysis, and their validity was confirmed from the expert meetings. [Results] The results of the study, indicate that the participants have earned psychological capitals such as my matter volleyball for diligence, the gift of a Bronze medal to gratitude, the source of achievement, challenges, and key of relationship tenderness from the experience of winning an Olympic medal. [Conclusion] In this regard, this study provides an opportunity to extend the study on the lives of retired athletes who won an Olympic medal to various perspectives, as well as the impact of sports experience on everyday life.
