Summary: | Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Japan showed that there were 6646 ALS (amytrophic lateral sclerosis) patients. These diseases patients are increasing year by year. Here we described that how we commu-nicated and the meta communication might be the best way to contact different levels of ALS patient. The re-sults indicated that meta communication stabilized the patient emotion, and release her from anxiety. Especially the number of nurse call decreased from 100 times/day to 10 times/day. She complained about muscle weak-ness in arms or legs, a hoarse voice, difficulty walking, clumsy hand, exercise intolerance, abnormal fatigue, and her life should be vanished. We planed to take a wheelchair riding to see beautiful sight, and we introduced her smile and satisfy.
