Summary:Three exotic ant species were found in field ant survey, pest insect research, and monitoring survey of Technomyrmex brunneus on Hachijo-jima Island, an oceanic island ca. 300 km south of central Tokyo, Japan, namely; Pheidole parva Mayr, 1865, Tapinoma melanochephalum (Fabricius, 1793), and Nylanderia amia (Forel, 1913). This is the first records of the species from Hachijo-jima Island, and is estimated that these species recently invaded this island.
