家族性にみられた若年性歯周炎の病態解析
若年性歯周炎と診断された20歳と18歳の姉妹およびその48歳の母親 (重度歯周炎により残存歯が7歯) の病態を, 臨床的, 細菌学的ならびに免疫学的に検討した。歯肉縁上プラークや歯石の沈着は姉妹共に少なかったが, 歯槽骨の吸収パターンは姉が広汎型, 妹は限局型 (ただし切歯と第一大臼歯以外の歯も罹患していた) と, 姉妹間に多少違いがみられた。姉妹の病変部ポケット内プラークを歯周治療の前後に採取し, 暗視野顕微鏡で検索したところ, 両者の初診時にかなりの割合で認められたSpirochetesとMotile rodsが治療後には減少し, 逆にCoccoid cellsの比率が上昇する結果を得た。...
