Summary:HKP-210 is a anodyne poultics containing 3 mg Ketoprofen in 1.0g vehicle. We performed 48 hours closed patch test for evaluation of skin safety of HKP-210. Test materials were HKP-210, HKP-210 base, Papsalon G and 0.3% Ketoprofen/pet. Test subjects were 48 out patients with skin diseases who presented our clinic during from March to August 1984. Patch test reactions were evaluated according to Japanese standard. The patch test positive rate of Papsalon (>±) was higher than those of HKP-210 and HKP-210 base significantly (p=0.073). The patch test positive rate of Ketoprofen 0.3%/pet was lower than that of Papsalon. So we decided HKP-210 might be used safely being applied correctly.
