Summary:Previously, an electrode array sheet was produced and an electrocardiogram (ECG) mapping was performed. The 45 commercial electrodes were arranged on silicone sheet and the sheet was put on the chest of subject to perform an electrocardiogram measurement. Signals were recorded with multi channel measure and taken into a PC.The ECG maps could be made successfully. The impedance distribution in the body is very important factor to the ECG mapping, and the impedance measurement is indispensable for precise ECG mapping. In this study, impedance tomography (EIT) employing the electrode array sheet for the ECG mapping is investigated. Impedance distributions in the water tank which is simulating human body are measured by the electrode array sheet. Some pieces of gel are put into the tank to make the impedance of the tank inhomogeneous. The EITs are reconstructed by the CT method successfully.
