Summary:This report (III) describes spectral characteristics of the A. E. waves, when materials ar subjected to various types of loads: uniaxial compressive, flexural and splitting loads. Previously, we were able to discover more or less that there are some frequencial characteristics of A. E. on the way of progressing failure process of materials. In this report, we were able to clarify this more definitely and obtain the following results: (1) Relatively lower frequencial components are much better at the earlier stress state than others. (2) Relatively higher frequencial components are much better near failure point of the materials. (3) These frequencial characteristics seem to be effected by the principal stress states in the materials. (4) It can be said that the spectral distribution is one of the important parameters for the monitoring system. From the above-mentioned results, various conditions are being considered in an effort to make a more efficient monitoring system.
