| Summary: | In the face of global population growth and climate change, modern agriculture must adopt innovative technologies to meet the increasing demand for food. This paper proposes and implements the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in agricultural settings to enhance resource management, to monitor and give vital information to those who are not familiar with agriculture or for those who are getting started on the subject. By implementing multiple sensors in one node, the farmers can monitor and analyze environmental and soil data in real time, enabling precision agriculture that optimizes yield and minimizes resource use. All the data is displayed on a Node-RED dashboard with different tabs that display the information given by the sensors, a meteorologic forecast, a feature to indicate what the farmer can plant at that precise moment and location, along with a help tab offering tips on planting and the necessary precautions to take. The proposed system was implemented to help and give important data that can't be obtain easily without some background research. |
