Summary:In this paper, a two-level search algorithm is proposed by combining a decimal tree with a local registering table to solve the slow searching problems of home local registering information in SMS gateways. The algorithm implementation is introduced in detail. The proposed algorithm is compared with two other search algorithms, including the database-based algorithm and the string-matching based algorithm, and the experimental results show that the proposed method with the decimal tree based algorithm is the fasted. As a result, the proposed algorithms can be used practically in SMS gateways.
